This website contains information on Indian History, mainly from the ascendancy of Chandragupta Maurya to Republic Day of India, i.e., 321 BCE to 1950 CE.

These two years are some of the most important and crucial years in Indian History as on 321 BCE beginning of Mauryan Empire, this era is known for their central administration, book like ‘Arthashastra’ was written, King like Samrat Ashok, Infrastructure like Sudarshan Dam was built.

Second year i.e., 1950 CE, in this year and onwards Independent India became Sovereign, democratic and Republic. Constitution of India came in force. Idea of Freedom came into reality, Independence not just from political, military, and administrative rule of British but from Social, cultural, and economic discriminations, freedom to move freely within country, freedom of speech, availability and accessibility of equal opportunities for progress.

Scope of Website:

The time period between 321 BCE-1950 CE, India experienced tremendous political, economic and social changes. Events occurred in this period were massive, revolutionary or evolutionary, sometimes dramatic or even surprising. Art and Architecture, literature, inventions and discoveries happened in this period are enormous as well as significant.

Economic structures that may include, business organizations, State’s economic policies, trade, industries, handicrafts, various types of currencies, nature of economic transactions at different levels of markets, dynamic economic relations among people, organizations, regions, and continents.

These all aspects about Indian History in concerned time period, played worth observing and studying role in the Human History.
